Author's note: A Mage of Violet Eyes was originally supposed to be a comic. I was only four pages in before I realized that it would take too long for me to finish the story. And so the story of Stonefall the Wanderer and Amaswirl sat on hiatus as I pursued other projects. Only when I talked about Reeims and their story in a college essay (of all places!) did I decide to pick up the project again. I understand that I had ended with a cliff hanger in the comic.
